Over the last year I have become a follower of news, views, and events in the city of Buffalo, NY.
I spent my college years at UB (many years ago) and consider my time in Buffalo to be a great experience. The saddest part of my time at UB was that I didn't get out and see all of the great things that Buffalo had going for it at the time I was there.
Only last year when I went back for Powder Keg weekend did I get over to the Botanical Gardens. This is a beautiful place to get away from the daily grind. How could I have missed this place?
There are still many places I want to experience so I like to keep up on news and events.
I started this blog to start a reasonable discussion (so no bad words) about different projects and ideas that will bring about a renaissance in Buffalo and Western New York. After reading comments on other sites (including the BNews when they allowed anonymous comments) they typically sank quickly into negative slurs and unproductive thoughts. My hope is that this blog will allow people to discuss issues and ideas in a civil manner. A dissenting opinion is still an opinion.
As we all know change is constant, let's just make it positive change.
